The 2015 KiteFoil Gold Cup will be run for the second consecutive year in four world venues.

The hydro foiling mania is back. The fastest kiteboard racers in the planet are sharping their blades to steal the overall title from the hands of Johnny Heineken.

The calendar of the 2015 KiteFoil Gold Cup will travel to La Ventana (Mexico), San Francisco (USA), Townsville (Australia), and a European event to be announced shortly.

In the opening season, over 70 riders from 19 countries competed at speeds that rival the finest America's Cup sailing yachts. The fastest mark is set at 42.8 knots.

"We're (foilboards) a touch faster up the track and they're (AC45 Turbo) a touch faster off the breeze," states Joey Pasquali, who has been training against Oracle's turbo foiling AC45, in San Francisco Bay.
