Jesse Richman has successfully completed one of the largest kiteboarding gap jumps in the history of the sport.
He is well known for the craziest stunts. Richman sailed 790 feet above the Columbia River Gorge, rode big waves at Jaws, and won the 2013 Red Bull King of the Air. The Hawaiian rider is pushing the envelope of contemporary kiteboarding.
And when you watch Nick Jacobsen on the shore just looking with his arms crossed, you know something uber dangerous is about to happen. So, what did Jesse Richman do? Well, something you should never try at your home break.
The spot is located in Cuesta del Viento, near San Juan, in Argentina. The gap jump could easily go wrong, but Richman felt he had the wind and the confidence to do it.
"To know your full potential sometimes you need to send it beyond your comfort zone! It's the largest kiteboarding gap jump over rocks I have ever done. Is it the biggest one done yet? You tell me. I'm freaking pumped to be alive," expressed Richman.
