The 2017 Kiteboard Tour Asia (KTA) will feature 13 events taking place in nine different countries.

The Asian kiteboarding circuit will visit Thailand, Singapore, South Korea, Solomon Islands, Vietnam, Fiji, Sri Lanka, Taiwan and Indonesia.

Riders are ready to compete in two main divisions - Twin Tip Racing, and Freestyle X - and the new season will kick off in a paradise called Pak Nam Pran, a Thai fishing village.

In March, the spot gets favorable winds in the 12-to-20-foot range, and the long beach is mostly frequented by kiteboarders.

The 2017 KTA season will once again accommodate the key rounds of the Kitesurf Association of Thailand (KAT) National Series so that riders can cut down on the travel.
