IKF

The International Kiteboard Federation and FKI (Federazione Kiteboard Italiana) have entered into an agreement to work together for Kiteboarding and the progression of the sport.

The IKF will work closely with the FKI.

Paolo Silvestri, the president of the FKI and will be President of Honour of the IKF. He has worked for the last 10 years to develop the sport in Italy and has organized many Italian championships.

Andrea Siquiera Silva IKF president: “This is great step for the IKF and we welcome the opportunity to work with the FKI. The IKF is growing as a Federation and we are pleased with the progress already.”

Paolo Silvestri FKI president: “ it is an exciting step for the sport, for Italy “the federation of Italy” and for the IKF to develop the sport and to take it into the future. I am very excited to play a big role for Kiteboarding and to affiliate FKI with the new International Kiteboard Federation.” It is now time to build on this development and we invite all national associations to affiliate themselves with the IKF to further the sport as a unit.
