Cook Island: a paradise on earth

Cook Islands have just become the latest member of the International Kiteboarding Association. This represents the first official expansion into Oceania after the inclusion of the Australian Championships earlier this year.

"We are honored and excited to be a part of IKA. We believe that the knowledge and spirits of our ancestors will guide us into the future.", Teanaroa Paka Worthington, President of Cook Islands Kiteboarding stated.

Markus Schwendtner, IKA Executive Secretary added that: "... we are looking forward to include the experience and ideas of this part of the world now as well to the international development of the sport".

Cook Islands Kiteboarding Association is expected to add valuable experience to the various IKA committees as well as giving input from the kiteboarding scene in Oceania.
