KPWT Santa Cruz: still up despite all the kiteboarding wars

The caravan of the Kiteboard Pro World Tour 2010 took off for the second round of the Ocean spirit - Wave Masters.

The swell was already very nice and appealing when the riders came to the beach. The wind picked up around noon and the show started at 3PM!

Thanks to the super wave riding conditions, in the final, Antoine Auriol from France met Nuno Figueiredo from Portugal.

We were lucky with the wind as the two riders were very good powered Antoine Auriol performed some amazing manoeuvres with very good surf but again nothing to say in front of Nuno Figueiredo’s tactics and strategy (Wave Portuguese Champion 2010).

MEN WAVEMASTERS RESULTS AFTER THE SECOND ROUND:

1. NUNO FIGUEIREDO (PT) - BEST KITEBOARDING
2. ANTOINE AURIOL (FR) - KITELOOSE
3. BRUNO MELLO (PT) - TAKOON
4. PAULO SILVA (PT) - CABRINHA

After the Wave Masters event and later in the day, the Race Director started the Super Session with great waves conditions.
