Richard Branson: never quits

Richard Branson has been forced to postpone the kitesurf cross of the English Channel due to bad weather conditions.

The Virgin mogul had to abandon the trip because of rough seas and high winds.

"I don't think I've ever done an adventure where I've succeeded the first time. I'm looking forward to getting the job done tomorrow", said Richard Branson.

Branson kicked off the challenge at Dungeness in Kent this morning, but had to turn back a just five miles after.

The entrepreneur is hoping to mark his 60th birthday by becoming the oldest person to kitesurf across the Channel.

Whether you think of a kite as a wing or a sail, you want it to be lightweight, resistant, waterproof, but also stiff and flexible at the same time, so that they could respond to all flight requests.
