Rob Douglas: anxious to get to Luderitz

The North American Speed Sailing Project members are getting ready for the long waited 2010 Luderitz Speed Challenge.

After taking the 2010 2010 HAM Challenge, Jamie Douglas, Bill and Rob Douglas are really looking forward to claim the world speed sailing record, property of the l'Hydroptère.

"A new outright world speed sailing record is waiting for America in the waters off of Africa", says a NASSP post in the official site.

The North American team will be using new kites from Cabrinha, new prototype speed boards from Mike Z, new fins from Curtis Fins and new straps/pads and harnesses from Dakine.

The 2010 Luderitz Speed Challenge gears up between 4th and 31st October.
