A tourist from Greece was killed in a kiteboarding accident off Puerto Rico's northern coast, officials said.

Dominica L. Parakera, 29, apparently became tangled in his equipment, saturday, in the Atlantic Ocean and was trapped by his board beneath the water, according to police Agent Harry Muniz.

Parakera was taken to a hospital in the city of Aguadilla and later pronounced dead, Muniz said. Please embrace safety procedures.
