Kitesurfing in Australia: happy times

The inaugural Wind, Will and Gravity Pro Tour is about to kick off in the southwest WA coast, in Australia. This is an exciting brand new kiteboarding competition that will gather an impressive group of world professional kitesurfers.

Along with photographers and filmmakers, the watermen will discover and experience the most scenic kite locations and natural renewable resources.

The mission is simple. To promote the unique and picturesque landscapes of Western Australia while testing new judging concepts, a nomadic competition and new broadcasting modern technologies.

The Tour will showcase the athletes' skills, agility and sportsmanship, whilst promoting ideals of an energetic and balanced lifestyle.

The underlying values of The Tour aim to encourage understanding of and commitment to the philosophy of a sustainable lifestyle. The Augusta leg of the tour is open to spectators and will be held between the 7th and 9th January 2011.

Whether you think of a kite as a wing or a sail, you want it to be lightweight, resistant, waterproof, but also stiff and flexible at the same time, so that they could respond to all flight requests.
