Tom Hebert: the new ION kite force

Tom Hebert has just joined the ION kitesurfing team. The 22-year old rider from New Caledonia is a dedicated Freestyle and Wave expert with an unique style. He started kiteboarding in 1998.

Hebert has been building, step-by-step, a nice kitesurfing career. In 2010, the kiteboarder managed to get a third place in New Caledonia and a first place in the podium of Australia, in the Freestyle events.

In the Wave discipline, the young wind lover has already secured a fourth place, in PKRA Tenerife, Spain. There are reasons to believe the talent has a lot of potential in the near future.

August 3, 2016, was a day that surfers should never forget. For the first time in its long history, surfing was confirmed in the Olympic Games.
