Wind, Will and Gravity: prepare to take off

The Wind, Will and Gravity Pro Tour 2011 has kicked off in Australia. The kitesurfing event aims to be an exciting and inspirational journey along the south of the Western Australia coast.

Also know as "The Tour", it will bring together an impressive group of professional kitesurfers from Australia and around the globe for the first time, who will team up with photographers and filmmakers to produce high quality photographic and film products, which will promote the kitesurfers' discovery and experience of WA's most scenic locations and natural renewable resources.

The inaugural stage of the Wind, Will and Gravity Pro Tour started on the Blackwood River, Augusta. Ewan Jaspan, Billy Hampton, Ned Taylor, Luke Whiteside, Cesar Portas and Mario Rodwald enjoyed the local winds.

Western Australia boasts some of the most unique, picturesque and biodiverse landscapes in the world. "The Tour" aims to promote these qualities alongside the diversity of exciting activities that this landscape supports.

"The Tour" is seen as a reflection of WA’s buzzing activity and the dedication to making the most of enjoying our natural renewable resources.

When you reach the "End of the Road," you're all by yourself. Are you sure you're ready to get barreled at Tahiti's infamous Teahupoo?
