AlpEnergie Kite Tour 2011: lost in the ocean

Julien Kerneur has conquered the second stage of the AlpEnergie Kite Tour 2011, held in La Tranche sur Mer, in France. The best French kiteboarders competed during three days in great wind conditions. Seven races were run in two different course races.

The fastest riders had an incredible regatta field to speed up to the best places in the rankings. Caroline Adrien was the best female kiteboarder, while Renaud Madier took the Masters category.

Maxime Nocher was the best Youth rider. The third stage will be Perros Guireca and the French Championships will beconcluded in Wimereux.

The push through, or punch through technique allows surfers to get past a small broken wave and reach the lineup without having to duck dive or turtle roll.
