Manuela Jungo: smile, you're a pro kiter

Manuela Jungo is training hard for the upcoming 2012 PKRA World Tour. The freestyle kiteboarder from Switzerland decided to complete her studies and gain professional experience before preparing a pro kiteboarding career.

"The most professional kiteboarders start their career in early ages and they do their education on the side or later on but I did it the other way around", explains Jungo.

"I studied and worked until last as Brand Manager for a Swiss luxury Watch Company, when I have decided to change my daily business routine to a peaceful, happy and active live on the beach", she adds.

Manuela Jungo is 28 years old and started kiting in 2006, in Cabarete. The Swiss rider moved to Brazil, in order to work hard on freestyle moves.

Then, Jungo moved to Maui to kite in the waves. She explored Panama and Colombia before she made a longer stop in Hamata, Egypt. Now, the blonde kiteboarder girl is tuning her tricks in Barra Nova, in Brazil. Watch a video of her water performances.

Manuela Jungo proves to be a fast, agile and creative freestyle kiteboarder. The rider from Düdingen will certainly be a name in the top spots of the 2012 PKRA World Tour.

Whether you think of a kite as a wing or a sail, you want it to be lightweight, resistant, waterproof, but also stiff and flexible at the same time, so that they could respond to all flight requests.
