Naish Ride: combo kite line

Naish has launched a new line of kites and board. The "Ride" combo delivers easy control and use with no loss of performance, according to the boardsports brand.

The kite promises to be a great pick for a novice or entry level rider who could learn the basics and improve into an advanced rider.

"The Ride kite was derived from the base origins of the Park, but with more focus on a 'sheet in and go' feel and water relaunch ease. Our team set out to create a kite that was simple, easy and fun for 'all around, hooked-in freeriding'", says Damien Girardin, Naish Kite designer.

The kite board has progressive flex to aid in pop and control, medium rocker for early planning and control, single concave bottom for easy edging and grip. The wider outline was designed for easy water starting.

"The Ride board features a single concave bottom and a medium flex allowing the rider to focus on having fun. The outline has been tuned for early planing and control. The modern tip design prevents spray from hitting the rider’s eyes", explains Ian Ponting, Naish Board designer.
