Kai Lenny: it suits you well

Kai Lenny has decided to wear a business suit to go kitesurfing in Maui, Hawaii.

It's a suit, not a wetsuit. Young waterman Kai Lenny is a man of challenges. This time, he decided to swap the traditional neoprene protection skin for a J.Crew men's suit.

"It's going to be interesting. I think the feeling you get from wearing a suit is very empowering already, so when you're riding, who knows? It might just be a secret weapon", explains Lenny.

The all-round watersport fanatic tested his new suit in the winds of Paia, his hometown.

"I've never wore a suit while kiteboarding, windsurfing or any sort of water sport". Well, there's always a first time, and Kai Lenny managed to ride the business suit without getting his hair wet.

Kai Lenny's experience is part of an 8-episode film series about one of the best watermen out there, filmed by GQ Magazine.

The International Olympic Committee (IOC) approved surfing's qualification system for the Tokyo 2020.
