Marc Jacobs has taken out the 2015 New Zealand Kite Nationals, at Foxton Beach.

After spending the year traveling the globe competing in world kiteboarding events, Jacobs returned home to steal the national title, at the Manawatu Estuary in the Lower North Island.

The river mouth at Foxton Beach is one of New Zealand's premier kiteboarding locations. Marc won the event for the eighth consecutive time.

"I'm always very confident before the New Zealand Nationals. I compete for a living and have much more experience than the others. Foxton was one of the most challenging conditions I have had, so my tour experience help out a lot," underlined Marc Jacobs.

"After winning my first New Zealand Nationals I told myself I won't stop till I achieve ten wins in a row so I know no Kiwi could beat that, and I'll forever be remembered for it. The feeling is still the same this is why I love competing."

Despite the gusty winds and choppy waters, Jacobs was able to stomp down his tricks, and keep en route to his 10-title challenge.
