Four kitesurfers were rescued at Shoeburyness, Essex, UK, by the British coastguard.
The men got their kite lines tangled at the local pier in the highest tide of the last ten years.
They tried to free themselves but were quickly spotted by the Southend foreshore team and later rescued by the Thames Coastguard on a lifeboat.
Shoeburyness is located at the mouth of the River Thames, just 46 miles from London.
