2013 Kiteboarding 4 Cancer: Hood River dreams

Grom Gormley has conquered the 2013 Kiteboarding 4 Cancer (KB4C), in the beautiful flat waters of the Hood River, Oregon.

The event raised funds for the Athletes 4 Cancer's Camp Koru Survivorship Program for Young Adults with Cancer. It was a huge success with many riders competing at the limit of their strength.

In the Men's division Grom Gormley finished ahead of Gabor Vagi and Tony Bolstad. Carol Bolstad smiled after taking out the Women's division, followed by Colleen Carroll and Rachel Callahan.

The 7th Annual Kiteboarding 4 Cancer (KB4C) also crowned Derek Fromm in the Groms division and Naish won the team contest.

The endurance race held in the Hood River is North America's largest amateur kiteboarding event.
