Mike Stewart, the best bodyboarder of all time, has taken his first kitesurfing lessons in Gran Canaria, Spain.
The 9-time world bodyboarding champion from Hawaii has hit the water with the support of a local kitesurfing school and showed enough talent to pursue a future career in the wind-riding sport.
Mike Stewart kicked off his first sailing miles in difficult ocean conditions. There were small waves, grey skies, and some wind gusts, but the bodyboarding champion did well.
After a few tweaks and corrections, the 47-year-old waterman showed great progression and sailed away from the zodiac boat and the kite instructors.
