Richard Branson: one day he'll leave everything for kiteboarding

Sir Richard Branson has confirmed the 2011 BVI Kite Jam at the Necker Island.

After the tremendous success of the first event, the Virgin mogul is inviting everyone to a new kiteboarding competition, from 27th February to 5th March, on the British Virgin Islands.

The 2011 BVI Kite Jam rates for a 7-night stay per couple start at $25,400 and are priced in US dollars.

The rates include accommodation, all meals, and drinks, return launch transfers from Virgin Gorda or Beef Island airports, VIP invitations to on-island Kite Jam parties and events, endless activities, local tax, plus a team of 60 fabulous staff.

"Opening up Necker Island hotel-style during kite jam week allows for professional and amateur kiteboarders or even just fans of the sport to combine a fantastic sporting event being at the hub of all the activities while staying on an idyllic private island.", says Jon Brown, Managing Director of Virgin Limited Edition.
