Sebastian Garat: four times, he climbed higher

The best French Freestyle kiteboarders have been crowned in Canet en Roussillon. More than 60 athletes joined the Club Kite Canet to show off their best skills and tricks. The Championnat de France de Kitesurf Freestyle 2010 were a great success.

The event decided champions in three divisions. Sebastian Garat, the French kite star, took the national crown for the fourth consecutive year.

"The choice of the wing was a key factor on this stage, with the wind rising and falling we had. I decided to go with a 7m Obsession in all my heats", Garat said.

Caroline Adrien won the Women's title and Maxime Nocher claimed the Junior division.
