Pigeon Point: relax and enjoy

For the first time in the history of the event, the Tobago Carnival Regatta will host a kiteboarding competition, from 17th-20th February.

Run by Brett Kenny and Keith Wyke, the contest will feature pro kiteboarders brought by the kite brand Cabrinha.

There have been several regattas in Trinidad and Tobago, in the last 28 years. In 2009, the annual regatta has grown and attracted sailors from all ages and all categories.

This time, Pigeon Point will be the chosen venue for a fierce competition of boat sailors, kiteboarders and windsurfers from countries like Barbados, Grenadines, St. Lucia, Jamaica, France, Spain, Germany, UK, USA and Canada.

The organization promises a top kiteboarding air show. Pro kiteboarders will show off their skills by doing extreme air stunts and by railing water ramps donated by Red Bull.
