Brad Domke gives a board transfer lesson at Cylinders

Brad Domke calls Cylinders his home. He's been riding it for more than a decade. But you've never seen him in board transfers like these.
Domke is no stranger to tough challenges. The highly-skilled skimmer has been developing a unique taste for waves of consequences. And to raise the bar even higher, he rides finless skimboards.
This time, Brad and filmmaker Dylan Palmer witnessed a "legendary day of waves." When they arrived at The Wedge's lesser-known shore break, the fireworks were already loaded.
To make things harder, Domke opted for a soft top beginner surfboard transfer to skimboard. And as you'll see for yourself, Cylinders was open to the stunt.
"I've been coming to this wave for about 15 years now and every swell hoping to get the right like this, it was for sure the biggest that I've board transferred to my skim at this particular spot too," explained Brad Domke.
In the end, the California skimboarder delivered a free tube riding class. It is quite impressive how he draws a surf line in these circumstances. Watch how he stalls, manages speed and maintains the thin board glued to the steep face of the wave.
