The Skim USA Tour announced the full schedule for the 2018 season.

The largest competitive youth skimboarding organization in the world is setting up five events on the East Coast of the United States.

The 2018 Skim USA Tour kicks off on March 24, in Stuart Beach, Florida, and wraps up with the iconic Zap Pro/Am World Championships of Skimboarding in August.

"We are a non-profit organization that gives out two $1,000 scholarships each year to deserving skimboarders. We also set up the Skim USA Team which represents the country in an international competition," explains Amanda Pace, executive director of Skim USA.

"Last year, our kids took two first places, and one second place spot at Portugal's Internacional de Skimboard, held in Santa Cruz."

In 2018, there will be four riders representing the US flag: Russell Sullivan (Men), Emma Okoniewski, (Women), Jack Lee (Juniors), and Ethan Redefer (Boys).

"You never know what you're going to be good at. I never expected to have skimboarding as the one thing that I look forward to the most in life, but it just came to me," explains Sullivan.

Skim USA has already confirmed that, in 2019, there will be a new event in the calendar - the PCB Spring Fling will take place in Panama City, Florida.
