Kelmer Sandoval: skimboard master in Costa Rica

Kelmer Sandoval has conquered the 2nd Skim Jam, held in Costa Rica.

Sandoval claimed the Open division of the contest surfed in Playa Prieta, near the town of Guanacaste.

The weather conditions were quite good for a challenging skimboard battle. There were some clouds in the sky, a few sun rays and waist-to-shoulder high waves breaking in the shore.

The podium places were completed by Daniel Sasso and Yokdany. The 2nd Skim Jam Costa Rica attracted many skmiboarding fans.

In the Intermediate division, Manrique Loria secured the first place, ahead of Carlos Dias and Esteban Monge.
