Hugo Santos: Portuguese skimboarding champion

Hugo Santos has been crowned the 2012 Portuguese skimboarding champion, at the S. Pedro do Estoril Beach.

Hugo Santos confirms the status of Portugal's best skimboarder. The waves of Estoril confirmed his excellent level in the two-to-three foot onshore faces.

The National Skimboard Circuit ended up after four stages held in Sesimbra, Espinho, Ericeira and Estoril.

Eduardo Joaquim took the second place, while Diogo Abrantes secured third in the podium. In the Women's division, the overall victory goes to Sofia Lopes, who reconquers the title of Portuguese skimboarding champion.

Diogo Abrantes claimed the Under 18 division, while Afonso Ruiz takes the Under 16 category. The Under 14 trophy goes to João Luz.
