Austin Keen: amazed

Austin Keen has claimed the 2014 UST Cabo Clasico, in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

Once again, the experienced skimboarder from Tybee Island, Georgia, took out the top honors in the final heat against Juan Carlos Nazario, a local Mexican star.

The ocean and weather conditions were absolutely great. Everyone had the opportunity to display skills and talent in one of the most iconic skimming spots in the world.

The Brazilian crew keeps impressing the judges. After a victory in the first stage of the 2014 United Skim Tour, Leandro Azevedo secured a well-respected fourth place in the Mexican shore break.

Samwise Stinnett was not able to beat Keen in the semifinals, so he kept third. Renato Lima finished fifth, and Theodore Vlasis took sixth. Cesar Lazareno Cortez won best trick with a suicidal frontside 360.

Riders will now travel to Dewey Beach, Delaware, for the 2014 Southside Shootout.
