Lucas Fink has been crowned 2019 United Skim Tour (UST) champion. He is the first Brazilian skimboarder ever to win the world title.

Fink won four consecutive stages in the United States and was able to mathematically confirm a maiden world skimboarding title for his career and country.

The Brazilian skimboarder won the decisive stage in Florida one day after celebrating his 21st anniversary.

"Words aren't enough to describe what I feel. But it's got to be one of the best moments ever!" expressed Lucas Fink after winning the Florida Pro/Am, at Vilano Beach.

"I'm so happy and grateful for achieving a goal that I had since I started skimboarding. Thank you to everyone that was part of it somehow, and has been helping me to reach the maximum potential."

Skimboarding Since The Age of 7

Lucas Fink was the standout rider of the 2019 UST season. He started with a second-place finish in Santa Cruz and then got first in North Carolina, Delaware, and California.

"This was an amazing trip, and all the hard work paid off after winning the three contests I competed in! Now, it's time to go home, get some rest, and celebrate this moment with the people that I love!"

Lucas Fink was born on August 24, 1998, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He started his professional career in 2008. Before taking up skimboarding at the age of seven, Fink played football in Flamengo.

He has previously won two world amateur titles, the Brazilian national title, and the South American skimming title.

Fink loves Japanese food and listens to rap, hip-hop, and funk.
