Austin Keen, the unstoppable skimboarding machine

Austin Keen has been enjoying a busy schedule in the pre-season, including a fun skim trip to Bali, in Indonesia.

In less than two months, Austin Keen has done almost everything to prepare for the 2016 United Skim Tour. Wakesurfing, riding warm barrels, training until sunset, skurfing, getting injured, jumping over human bodies, and inventing new skimming tricks with a Frisbee.

For many, he's the one who is pushing the sport forward, in a make-or-break time for skimboarding. Keen is clearly focused on highlighting new angles and maneuvers, while blending a free surfing agenda with the competitive calendar.

The "Raw Files" of flatland skimboarder Daniel Prieß

Uncooked, real and striking. Daniel Prieß, one of the most talented riders of the flatland skimboarding scene, has released his "Raw Files," a collection of action sequences that didn't make into "Brotherhood."

At 24, Prieß - or Priess - has a large canvas to work with. The German skimboarder from Scharbeutz is constantly traveling the world with his board. And he never forgets to bring the video camera.

In "Brotherhood," flatland skimming's most important film of the decade, Prieß, Friedrich Flüh, and friends showed why they don't need oceans and waves to elevate the sport. Additionally, the "Raw Files" prove that "flatlanders" are keeping the skimboarding spirit intact and alive.

Brad Domke rides Jaws and completes the pentathlon of big wave skimboarding

Brad Domke has successfully concluded the pentathlon of big wave skimboarding. The skimboarder surfed Jaws in triple overhead conditions.

Brad Domke has already checked in at the world's most dangerous surf breaks - Puerto Escondido, Teahupoo, The Right, and Nazaré. The most popular wave rider from Wabasso Beach, Florida, had one last spot left to tick - Jaws/Peahi.

Surfboards, windsurf boards, bodyboards, and kiteboards. Jaws has seen all sorts of boards being ridden in XXL conditions. But in the Maui history books, you couldn't find a skimboard.
