Prince William of Wales is a surfing celebrity

Prince William was first spotted with a bodyboard, back in 1993, while still a child.

Later in 2004 he went surfing with friends in Scotland, displaying good skills. William has also surfed in Portugal.

He is an avid sportsman and a keen surfer, so much so that the sport was part of his bachelor party, in 2011.

The Duke of Cambridge was born on the 21st June, 1982, in London, to Charles, Prince of Wales, and Diana, Princess of Wales.

The eldest of two sons, William attended Ludgrove School, Eton College and graduated in Geography, in 2005, in St. Andrews University, after a gap year for travelling South America and Africa.

He completed his training as an officer in Royal Military Academy Sandhurst and a pilot in the Royal Air Force, and is currently serving as a helicopter pilot with the Search and Rescue Force.

William married Catherine Middleton in 2011 and their first son, Prince George of Cambridge, was born on July 22nd, 2013.
