Minnie Driver is a surfing celebrity

Minnie Driver proved to be a natural on her surfboard when spotted in Surf City, in 2006. The British actress enjoyed herself catching waves at the Surfrider Foundation Celebrity Surf Jam.

She claims that surfing, right alongside yoga, is one of her favorite things to do.

Minnie Driver was born on the 31st January, 1970, in London.

She started acting in theatre and television, and her film debut was as Benny Hogan in "Circle of Friends", in 1995.

Her performance gathered attention and roles in movies like "007 - Goldeneye", "Sleepers" and "Grosse Point Blank" soon followed.

Driver’s part in "Good Will Hunting" led to an Academy Award nomination for Best Supported Actress, among other distinctions.

In 1998, she founded the production company "Two Drivers" with her sister.

Minnie Driver also developed a music career. She was a member of the band "Puff, Rocks and Brown" and released her debut solo album "Everything I've Got in My Pocket" in 2004. The second album, "Seastories", came out on 2007.
