Vanessa Hudgens: ready to carve

Vanessa Hudgens was born on the 14th December, 1988, in Salinas, California.

The young actress and singer achieved stardom in 2006, thanks to her role as Gabriella Montez in the Disney movie "High School Musical", alongside Zac Efron.

Hudgens started acting and singing at eight years old in plays and musicals, and eventually appeared in commercials and television shows.

She dedicated herself to acting at 15, having performed in series and sitcoms and scoring, in 2003, her first film role in "Thirteen".

Hudgen's debut musical album, "V", was released in 2006, having reached the 34th position on the "Billboard 200" and garnered positive reviews.

Together with fellow actress Ashley Greene, Vanessa Hudgens attended the Learn To ride event at Oakley Pro Bali. She had also been seen surfing in Hawaii, in 2010.
