Turnagain Arm bore tide: a never ending pleasure

A group of Stand Up Paddle surfers has enjoyed te pleasures of the Turnagain Arm bore tides.

Scott Dickerson led Eric Newberry, Dave Calkins and Mike McCune through a glassy surfing session near the Seward Highway, by the Kenai Mountains.

These SUP surfers rode the incoming tide from Peterson Creek to as far as the Twenty Mile River.

The International Olympic Committee (IOC) approved surfing's qualification system for the Tokyo 2020.
