Night bodyboarding: the lights can't fail

Portuguese bodyboarders are going to hit the waters and the waves at night, in Praia da Baia, Espinho, Portugal.

The "Stars of the Waves" will be held at 00h30m, on 19th September, in one of the busiest days of the city of Espinho. Sunday will be a special religious date for all locals. The patroness - "Nossa Senhora da Ajuda" - will certainly bless the ocean for this amazing contest.

Just right after the fireworks, the bodyboarders will kick off the tow-in and tow-out event.

There will be prizes for the best trick, best air and best wave. Praia da Baia, in Espinho, is one of the best surfing spots in the North of Portugal.

Bjorn Dunkerbeck and Philippe Bru have teamed up to open the Dunkerbeck Pro Center, in the Lac Bay Lagoon on the island of Bonaire, in the Dutch Caribbean.
