Kay Lenny: SUPer Man

Kai Lenny has conquered the 2010 Stand Up World Tour. The 18-year-old surfer was crowned in an epic final held at Honoli'i, on the Big Island.

The first SUP world champion proved his quality in small surf.

As the finals got underway, it became clear that the World Title was not enough for the young Champion.

He wanted the event win, too. Lenny scored two high-scoring waves and just had to relax.

The remaining finalists scratched around to find waves that might match Kai's performance but to no avail.

Kai stepped into a league of his own and won the SUP World Championships, much to the delight of his family and friends on the beach.

The Official crowning of the World Champion for 2010 will take place this Saturday on the Big Island.

The 2011 Stand Up World Tour will grow bigger, better, and in more places than ever.
