Australian Surf Movie Festival: a huge success

Surf movies are back to Australia. The Australian Surf Movie Festival is screening the best new films and the unforgettable classics. In 2011, the organization is exploring the country's best aboriginal surfers.

The moves from Dale Richards, Russ Molony, Joe Haddon and Otis Carey will be traveling to Western Australia, Southern Australia, New South Wales and Tasmania. All surf movies will present local surfers and were exclusively shot in Australia.

The selection of the best waves, tricks and lifestyles promise to enlighten all spectators, alongside with great concerts from Jeremy Donovan, OKA, Band of Frequencies, PICO, The Dave Flower Band, The Tim McMillan Band, The Sniffer Dogs, FisherKings, Laura Hill and Juzzie Smith.

To be screened surf movies include "From Where You’d Rather Be. A Journey", by Taylor Steele, "Who Is J.O.B.?", by Jamie O’Brien, "Walkabout", by Tim Bonython and "Hot Off the Press Pipeline", by Tim Bonython.
