Coolangatta: surf city

Surf business, innovation in surf, surf tourism, coastal management and surf city governance will be the center of debate of the Global Surf Cities Conference 2013, in Coolangatta, Australia, between 28th February and March 1st.

The Australian Gold Coast will gather internationally acclaimed speakers on how to establish a platform for networking among surf cities to develop globally sustainable surf industries, and to develop frameworks for international collaboration in surf industry education, employment and global career mobility.

The Global Surf Cities Conference 2013 is set to the days preceding the Quiksilver Pro Gold Coast. Chris Hines (UK), Andy Abel (Papua New Guinea), Dr Jess Ponting (USA) are some of the invitees.

Surftech Internationals Jamie Mitchell and David Byrne will also be presenting the latest global technology and innovation in SUP (stand up paddling) and Ocean Paddle Racing craft design and construction.
