All we need is a deliciously imperfect man-made wave

You could call it "The People's Wave Pool." Why? Because it is attractively imperfect, and it is open for you to enjoy it.

American Wave Machines and the BSR Cable Park have finally released the first official video featuring the Perfect Swell technology in action.

Not only it produces a visually impressive three-wave set, but it also creates what surfers love most - barrels and punchy lips and ramps.

In windless and sunny conditions, the blue wave peels fast across the pool, offering both right and left-handers. If you're looking for a flawless wave, then this is not a wave pool for you.

The newly-opened BSR Surf Resort generates ocean-like waves that pretty much serve surfing's purpose. The ride is shorter compared with Wavegarden and Surf Ranch, but the feel is definitely real.

With plenty of tube time opportunities, air and wedgy sections, and challenging closeouts, this artificial wave almost looks natural.

According to the developers, the new Texan wave pool located in Waco is capable of producing three-to-eight foot waves.

Now, it's time for the 99 percent of surfers who are not friends of a wave pool owner to enjoy it; even it means paying $60 for a 60-minute session, and around 15 waves.

You may also invest $1,000 in a season pass, and catch all the waves that you can during the eight-hour workday.
