Carissa Moore: barreled and victorious | Photo: Poullenot/WSL

Carissa Moore is your 2015 Women's Samsung Galaxy Championship Tour queen.

The Hawaiian surfer defeated Sally Fitzgibbons in the Target Maui Pro final, and secured her third world title in perfect four-to-six foot surf, at Honolua Bay.

Moore concluded her 2015 World Surf League campaign with a spectacular performance. She pulled a total heat scored of 19.50 points, including a unanimous Perfect 10-point ride.

"I've enjoyed the whole ride and to see it pay off, it was just nice to finish off the season strong last year here. It's a place I love to surf, and it just lit a fire underneath me and got me excited for this season. That was the biggest barrel I've ever gotten in competition, and I'm just so thankful for everything," said Carissa Moore.

"I look at Courtney and just see that she's a fierce competitor, she's ready, she's on and was going to go to the final, and so I realized I had to go to the final too. I had no idea or thought that she was going to go out in Round 4 and well done to Coco - she was surfing so well."

Courtney Conlogue finishes the season in the runner-up position. But she is ready to take on the upcoming season and get her maiden WSL world title.

"This is my best season so far, and I'm going to look back at it and know I could've done better - you always can. It's a bummer and devastating, but now that I am where I'm at at the end of the season I just have to move forward and keeping grinding it out to get ready for next year," concluded Conlogue.
