Dungeons: Chris Bertish rides one of the gnarliest waves in the world

Dungeons, means ice-cold water, thick, undulating kelp beds that cover the inside waters, abundant sea life, including a few local sharks that prey on the seal colony and of course big waves.

South African based surfer Chris Bertish was brave enough to take on one of the gnarliest waves in South Africa on a Naish Stand Up 10'6" and almost made it.

The photo speaks for itself ... pretty sick!
