The Perfect Wave: searching for the surfers' Holy Grail

"The Perfect Wave" is the surf movie story of two young riders make a sudden decision to fulfill their dream of searching for the perfect wave around the world.

Filmed on location in South Africa, Bali and Java, The Perfect Wave brings to life the incredible true story of Ian McCormack, a surfer who came to faith in a very dramatic fashion, alongside with his cousin Greg.

The surf film looks for the spiritual side of chasing waves and riding them. "The Perfect Wave" embarks on an adventurous, adrenalin-packed world trip, exploring the best surf spots in search of the dream wave. Love is there, too.

The full length, dramatic, theatrical feature film is based on the true story of a 24-year old, New Zealander, Ian McCormack, and is directed by Bruce MacDonald. It will be premiered during summer 2013.

The cast of "The Perfect Wave" includes Rosy Hodge, Scott Eastwood, Cheryl Ladd, Rachel Hendrix, Paddy Lister, Jack Halloran, Diana Vickers, Scott Mortensen, Nikolai Mynhardt and Matt Bromley.
