Jadson Andre: home win

Jadson Andre has conquered the 2010 Billabong Pro Santa Catarina, in Brazil.

In the final heat of this thrilling surf contest in South America, the Brazilian defeated Kelly Slater. Andre got 14.40 points against 14.00 scored by the nine-time world champion.

Event No. 3 of 10 on the 2010 ASP World Tour was held at the primary site of beautiful Praia da Vila, in Santa Catarina. Clean three-to-four foot (1,5 meter) waves pumped the last moments of the Brazilian 'Dream Tour' stage.

The WCT now heads to South Africa for the Billabong Pro Jeffreys Bay. The contest will be held between the 15th and 25th July. Kelly Slater is now leading the ASP World Tour title race.
