Leco Salazar: SUPer vertical

Leco Salazar has conquered the 2012 Stand Up World Tour, after taking the Location X Finals, in the British Virgin Islands.

Everything worked out fine for the Brazilian SUP rider. The optimal probability has been confirmed and Leco Salazar is celebrating the 2012 SUP World Tour title.

Salazar had to win the last event of the season and make sure Sean Poynter was knocked out prior to the finals. With a strong backhand surfing, the Brazilian met the North American in the Semifinal and put out all of his skills to head to the final.

"I got here under pressure knowing that I had to win to be crowned champion, but everything went right. I am very happy. Me and Caio were happy to be in a final surfing together. We're great friends and we had a lot of fun catching waves", says Salazar.

Leco is the son of the legendary surfer Picuruta Salazar, who won 10 Brazilian pro longboarding titles.
