Search GPS 2: new surf watch by Rip Curl

Rip Curl announced the launch of the Search GPS Series 2 surf watch.

The Search GPS 2 is smaller, lighter, and more durable than its predecessor and comes with new features like real-time conditions and GPS tracking for new sports like snowboarding and skiing, running, and swimming.

With a compact design, the new wave forecasting watch by Rip Curl promises to track every wave, swell, wind, and tide, thanks to its partnership with Surfline.

The surf watch will let you analyze live stats, record your waves and top speeds, and check the distance traveled on top of your board.

The Australian company says that the Search GPS community has over 44,000 users, making it the "world's largest surf club."

The Rip Curl Search GPS 2 will be available on September 17, 2018, for €299,99 (around $350).
