Europe: a groundswell is coming

Europe is ready to welcome one of the biggest swells of the last years.

Western European coastlines in countries such as Portugal, Spain, France, Ireland, Wales and England will be receiving powerful wave sets on the horizon, between October 26th-29th.

A groundswell traveling from North Atlantic will be cruising towards the Bay of Biscay and delivering big surf to the British islands, France, north of Spain and Portugal. The above images shows the swell position at 00:01h, 28th October.

At the same time, a powerful storm will boost the groundswell's own energy to increase the power of the incoming waves. Big wave surfers are already getting their equipment checked for the challenge ahead.

Spots like Nazaré, Supertubos, Mullaghmore, Roca Puta, El Bocal, Belharra, Aileens and Prowlers will probably deliver the largest waves ever in Europe, in the last years.
