Three female surfing legends and five iconic male surfers will compete in a World Surf League (WSL) Heritage Series event at Lower Trestles, California, between September 9th-20th.

Layne Beachley, Lisa Andersen and Sofia Mulanovich - three former world surfing champions - will compete for glory in San Onofre State Beach. Beachley won seven world titles; Andersen claimed four crowns, and Mulanovich was the first-ever South American to conquer the most coveted trophy.

"Being invited to surf in the Heritage Series with Lisa and Layne is a huge honor for me; it's going to be a lot of fun," expressed Sofia Mulanovich.

In the Heritage Series Expression Session, there will be five surf legends in the water. Shaun Tomson, Wayne "Rabbit" Bartholomew, Simon Anderson, Michael Ho and Cheyne Horan.

Tomson won the IPS World Circuit in 1977; Bartholomew conquered the world title one year later. Anderson is the "inventor" of the thruster fin setup, Ho has collected two Triple Crown of Surfing titles, and Horan finished four surfing seasons as runner-up.

The online broadcast will be brought to you during the 2015 Hurley Pro and Swatch Women's Pro by a few classic legends: Mark "MR" Richards, "PT" Townend and Ian "Kanga" Cairns.

"Watching these surfers at Lowers in the Heritage Series will be a trip down memory lane as these living legends show us that the stoke for surfing never dies," concluded Cairns.
