Surf Snowdonia, the world's first public artificial wave pool, will host the Red Bull Unleashed 2015, between 18th and 19th September.

The Welsh surfing stadium located in Dolgarrog is debuting a completely new format for competitive surfing, only possible in a spot where waves are produced by humans.

The Red Bull Unleashed 2015 will feature a series of man-on-man clashes themed on medieval jousting tournaments which, set in the beautiful Welsh countryside with its historic castles and rich folklore, will be an echo of sporting combat from another time.

Surfers will ride, wave for wave, against each other, in best of five, matchplay-style clashes to decide who advances. The competition will have 24 surfers battling for consecutive victories until two riders reach the final.

Spectators are invited to witness all the action in the water at close range. A total of 2,500 tickets will be available at £8 per person.
