Fourteen ASP World Championship Tour (WCT) surfers have requalified for the 2015 World Surf League.

Gabriel Medina, Mick Fanning, Kelly Slater, John John Florence, Michel Bourez, Joel Parkinson, Jordy Smith, Adriano De Souza, Taj Burrow, Kolohe Andino, Josh Kerr, Owen Wright, Nat Young, and Bede Durbidge can keep it cool for Pipe.

But there's too much water running in the line-up for the final professional surfing events of the season. Three Prime contests and the Pipeline Masters for the elite riders.

Knowing that the top 22 surfers of the WCT, the top 10 on the Qualification Series (QS) rankings, and two season wildcards will get the ticket to the 2015 World Surf League, math will decide who's in.

This means that only ten surfers may still requalify via WCT rankings. Here's what they should do:

15. Miguel Pupo (BRA): finish 9th;
16. Filipe Toledo (BRA): finish 5th;
17. Adrian Buchan (AUS): finish5th;
18. Kai Otton (AUS): finish 3rd;
19. Freddy Patacchia (HAW): finish 2nd;
20. Jadson Andre (BRA): finish 2nd;
21. Julian Wilson (AUS): win Pipe;
22. Sebastian Zietz (HAW): win Pipe;

C.J. Hobgood and Matt Wilkinson are below the cutoff line and may only requalify via WCT with a quarterfinal or better.

"Jeremy Flores and Raoni Monteiro cannot requalify with their WCT results. But with three Prime events left on the QS, both have a shot at the 2015 Tour. Ranked No. 16 on the QS, Flores is in the best spot and only needs one good result. Monteiro, in contrast, needs several good results," explains Al Hunt, from the ASP Situation Room.

"Surfers who will qualify through the QS, however, are harder to determine. The 6-Star Oceano Santa Catarina Pro just finished in Brazil, which shook up the rankings yet again. But with three Primes left, anything could happen."

The QS surfers above the cutoff include:

1. Jadson Andre (BRA)
2. Matt Banting (AUS)
3. Wiggolly Dantas (BRA)
4. Filipe Toledo (BRA)
5. Adriano De Souza (BRA)
6. Adam Melling (AUS)
7. Tomas Hermes (BRA)
8. Italo Ferreira (BRA)
9. Keanu Asing (HAW)
10. Jesse Mendes (BRA)

Charly Martin and Willian Cardoso will enter the above list as De Souza and Toledo free their spots via WCT requalifying. But there are still 61 surfers who could reach the QS top 10, which means December promises tears and joy, dreams and nightmares.
