Travis Logie will be in charge of the World Surf League (WSL) Qualifying Series and Junior Tour (JT) events.

The former World Championship Tour (WCT) competitor retired from professional surfing in the end of 2014 and will be working closely with the WSL Commissioner, Kieren Perrow.

"Travis is a phenomenal surfer in his own right and his career has spanned all levels and regions of the WSL. He'll be working closely with Al Hunt as we focus further on our development platforms in 2015 and beyond," explains Perrow.

Logie will be implementing changes to the Qualifying Series this season and, after ten years on the Dream Tour, the South African opens a new chapter in his life and career.

Travis, who defeated every world champion except for Sunny Garcia, hails from Durban. His sharp and aggressive backhand game, as well as his versatility in small and big waves will forever stay in the memory of surf fans around the world.
